Stefan Menzel or ‘Mr.Organ’, as he’s mostly referred to in and around Dresden, has been writing and performing music since his early youth. Unlikely to be encountered without his vintage Yamaha-Keyboard, he’s a favored collaborator and contributor to Dresden’s electronic music scene – be it with releases as Soeren Matschiste on Etui, as a part of C-Beams together with Break SL or even as a tutor at music production workshops. His idea of Techno and House is distinctly marked by a love of experimentation resulting from his musical occupation with Jazz, IDM, film music or even classical music. Lately, he’s been busy spicing up the DJ-sets of his friends with own basslines, layers of sound and well-known themes played live on keyboard and synthesizer. Moreover, he’s working on his own live set and tracks forthcoming on Uncanny Valley.
