A.k.a. Stephen Hart
American guitarist and music writer who published the fanzine Licentia et Pax. In the 1980s he wrote various articles for Maximum Rocknroll, under the name 'Steve', covering the music scene in Michigan. In the 1990’s he moved to California and worked with bands like 15, Green Day, under the name “Sammy Hagar.” Later, he became “Todd Nugent” and sang in the power violence band, “Gitchee Gumee.” He later joined Plainfield, becoming one of the revolving members. In 1995, he was hired by Mr. Bungle and toured with them on their various Disco Volante tours. He also toured with Fantomas, appearing on their self-titled LP (uncredited), Melt Banana, appearing on “Charlie” and “ MxBx 1998/13000 Miles At Light Velocity” albums, Dieselhed, William Winant, Secret Chiefs 3, and worked with the Melvins as a “merch guy.” He is currently a member of the punk group Order Of The White Rose, the noise band, Ab/Ab and lives in Hawaii, publishing the Fanzine, New Wave Chicken
