Album SE 2008 on iDEAL Recordings label
Electronic (Drone, Experimental)
Recorded in 230 W 108 #4d, NYC spring 2005. Mastered & bass wave assistance at Aleph, Seattle. Limited edition of 600 copies in oversized cardboard cover. SALT is the audio component created for "Bleed", the initial collaboration between sculptor Banks Violette and musician Stephen O'Malley. First shown at Barbara Gladstone Gallery, NYC summer 2005. Subsequently the piece was acquired by The Guggenheim Museum and remains in their collection in NYC. Long playback loops of acoustic guitar and bass sine waves sparsely moved to the ear on it's own, but was designed to instead suggest modulation an border to the viewer/listener through their movement around and in relation to the work itself. Published by Ideologic Organ (BMI), administered in Europe & Australasia by Touch Music [mCPS] . Thanks to Anne Kugler, Banks Violette, Jose Friere/TEAM, Neville Wakefield, Barbara Gladstone & Mell Dettmer.
