Stephen has been engineering & producing since 1978. Beginning at Central Sound Studios in Manchester he moved to Smile Studio in Chorlton and then Square One in Bury, Lancashire. He is currently the engineer and producer in residence at Ian Devaney and Lisa Stansfield's 'Gracieland' studios in Rochdale, Lancashire and also lectures at Manchester's 'School of Sound Recording'. He is also known as a prominent string & brass arranger as well as an accomplished keyboard player.
