Steve Carroll and the Bograts were the house band at Tommy Condon's Irish Pub in Charleston, SC. Steve Carroll (native of Dublin) sang and played bodhran (Irish drum) as the leader of the band. He had been in residence at Tommy Condon's for 30 years. Guitarist Teddy Prause, a Charleston native, accompanied Steve for 21 years, before Steve's death in 2016. Dan O'Connell played banjo for the band. Since Steve's passing the band has broken up and been replaced by Christian Carroll, Steve's son, and his Bograts.
