Played with Sidney Bechet, King Oliver, Johnny Dodds, Zutty Singleton, and others. Worked in Storyville, society orchestras, and barrelhouse. Recorded with Piron's New Orleans Orchestra (New York, New Orleans, 1923-24), Lela Bolden, Willie Jackson, and possibly Dorothy Everett (New Orleans, 1920s). Made at least one piano-roll.
