Steve Knutson is the founder and owner of Audika Records, and custodian of the musical archive of Arthur Russell. Steve has compiled and released several Arthur Russell projects to worldwide acclaim. Steve’s career began at Denver’s infamous Wax Trax Records. Moving to New York in the early 1980’s, he joined Tommy Boy, where for 18 years he witnessed and contributed to the rise of Hip Hop. From 2007-2013 Steve served as the General Manager of Rough Trade North America before relocating to Portland, OR in 2014.
