Steve Propas

Canadian promoter who started out as a booker for the Student Union while attending Montréal's McGill College in 1970. Started a successful promotion and booking company, Dixon Propas Management (a.k.a. Dixon-Propas Productions Inc.), with Neill Dixon in 1974. The company established the Solid Gold Records (2) label in 1979, which operated until 1985. After this, he opened his own management company Propas Management Corporation. In 1998 was appointed Vice President of KOCH's Velvel Music Group. Eventually became VP International for KOCH Entertainment.
