As a youngster in Brooklyn, he sang harmony in deserted subway stations; he sang for presidential inaugurals, for Princess Grace in Monaco and for the British royal family at Windsor Castle, including the wedding of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, the Queen Mother’s 100th birthday, Prince Edward’s 21st birthday and more... his 1980 hit recording of "Manhattan Shuffle" and 1983 smash hit recording of "Don't You Give Your Love Away", along with his rich vocal stylings, tasty guitar expertise and elegant demeanor have earned him the nickname, Mr. Class.
