Country singer - songwriter Born in St. Louis, based in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S. He joined Arrow Memphis as a keyboardist in 1976. In 1985, he joined Toby Beau along with his wife Teri. Then he played with the Russ Bono Band, formed a classic rock band called Blast and was offered a stint in the backing band of Nashville country artist Woody Lee. Has co-written "Redneck Yacht Club" along with Thom Shepherd, a No.1 country hit for Craig Morgan in 2005. In 2009, George Strait recorded the Steve Williams-penned "Where Have I Been All My Life" for his "Twang" album.
