A.k.a. Stephan Töteberg Billy Byte Lisa-Maria Tedesca

Stephan "Steven" Töteberg's music career began in 1975 with the formation of his first two bands 'Eisland' and 'The Unique'. The latter featured an array of talented musicians from Ghana. In 1980, audio engineering became the focus which led to an extraordinary collaboration with South African gospel singer, Audrey Motaung. Together they performed worldwide and continued working alongside each other for a decade. In 1985, Steven produced the debut album of Fury In The Slaughterhouse which in turn spawned a Gold album. Signing to the IC label, he worked under the pseudonym Quiet Force. Alongside this, he composed a very successful rock ballet ‘Love Of War’ which would be shown for 3 years at 'The Hannover Oper'. By the early nineties, Steven set up his own recording studio working with legends such as Randy Crawford amongst others. Fascinated by different cultures and the musical influences they had on him and his work, Steven travelled in search of widened horizons to London, Paris, Scandinavia, France and South Africa. In 1999 he moved to Senegal, Africa where he mentored and produced music for promising young rappers and hip hop artists. His studio 'The Maison Yes' quickly became the creative haven for the youth of Dakar. Greenpeace Magazine alongside different TV teams from all over the world caught on to the progress being made here. 'The Maison Yes' had given hope to these young aspiring artists. In 2004 the project FAGARU JOTNA (Rap against Aids) was founded in collaboration with CNLS/ WELTBANK. One year later he began working with ‘The Alexander Technique’ in which he had been professionally trained in for 4 years. Now residing in Berlin, Steven has just produced the Senegalese artist ‘Magou’. The record will be released through ‘Network Medien’. Further workshops regarding ‘Show Business and Health’ and ‘The Alexander Technik’ wil continue to run thoughout 2007 with organisations specialising in music and medical industry. Steven continues working with new young and upcoming artists.
