Collaboration album by Stilluppsteypa, the trio from Iceland and irr.app.(ext.), artist from California. With special guest vocal appearances by japanese singer Yasuko Onuki (of Melt-Banana). A feature of the disc is that the number of tracks (11) exceeds the number of listed titles (7). Therefore there is not a direct correspondence between tracks & titles, & so the tracks can't be titled in the conventional sense. However, the CD *does* have 7 distinct pieces of music on it, if you listen to it, ignoring the tracks. The 7 titles, and their durations, are: 1. language shots: very useful (6:58) 2. pricked membrane articulates discomfort (5:11) 3. under cover of night, the locust train bears away your fondest dreams. (7:00) 4. reply offers quotations (5:34) 5. the grapefruit tree (what is it's real name?) (6:20) 6. sap pits pull, yet / till puppets say:/ "all types spit up / pulpy silt paste" / pay up still, pest. (6:46) 7. wherever than any whenever (14:25)
