MC Stixman was initially an MC on a reggae sound system, before he became friends with one of his neighbours, MC Magika. This led to him MCing at raves from 1993 onwards, frequently alongside Magika. His first time on the Mic was at Club Kinetic in Stoke-On-Trent when he MCed for part of Carl Cox's set. His next set was at Dance Planet in Cornwall, again alongside Magika. In 1995 he became the host of the "Roll The Beats" radio show on Radio XL. His brother in the Jungle MC, Ranger T.
