Producer of Dance
Stoyk is a French hardcore/techno/gabber and breakcore producer. A member of the Core-Tex Labs label and hardcore party collective. He lived in Australia for a brief period in Sydney during the early to mid 2000s. While in Australia he started "Travelcore" with fellow french producers and DJs including Zip The Robot and Epo and organised warehouse and underground parties around inner city Sydney alongside fellow co-conspirators, The "Killerwatts" or KWS breakcore and hardcore crew. In 2004 and 2005 he also co-hosted the "Illegal Frequencies" Radio Show on 2serFM with The Shredder. Stoyk's sets were notorious for live mashups of industrial hardcore and gabber with heavy metal and punk rock songs. Often combining common moshpit favourites with abrasive noise and bass and heavy distorted breakbeats. Stoyk now lives back in his native France and when not raising a family still produces hardcore techno and organises parties...although not as frequently as he used to.
