"Stroef is an Amsterdam based Techno DJ. After hearing the legendary Tokyo Liquidroom 1995 mixtape by 'The Wizzard', also known as Jeff Mills at the end of the 90’s, he was instantly hooked and started to listen to techno. Inspired by Mills and the ''Force + Form'' album by the UK techno artist Surgeon, he started building his techno collection, which now consists over 3000 eps, 600+ cds and more than 14000 techno mp3s. That wide selection of techno music has always been the foundation of his mixes and inspiration. In 2002 he bought his first 2 decks and since 2005 he has been mixing with three turntables. He has performed at several big venues in Amsterdam and is Question’s resident and and fellow organiser. His mixing style can be described as fast and progressive: often starting out slow and ending with a punch. He always tries to tell his listeners a story."
