Album US 2001 on Anomalous Records label
Electronic and Jazz (Experimental, Ambient)
Works performed with didjeridu (sewer pipe and brass versions), large singing audience, and trombone. Compiled from performances during November 3-6, 1983, at On The Boards, as part of their "New Performance Series" at Washington Hall Performance Gallery in Seattle. The live recording was made with a single pair of AKG 451/CK-22 microphones directly into a Nagra IV-S recorder. The collage effect of the final product was accomplished by combining various parts of the concerts, playing back the performances through four separate Nagra IV-S machines, onto a Nagra T-Audio recorder. Originally released on the Stuart Dempster "private issue cassette", in 1986. Recorded and produced by Location Recording. Digitally remastered on Pyramix Virtual Studio by Location Recording. Special thanks to the On The Boards staff for making these 1983 concerts possible. These performances are dedicated to the late Mea Hartman, Champion of the arts, "referee" during the 1970s and 80s of University of Washington's Meany Hall, and a Good Friend.
