"Sue Lane Talley has been a performing pianist since the age of five, and winner of numerous piano competitions. At age 16 she began her orchestral career as a soloist with the Santa Barbara Symphony. Sue has been a piano faculty member at Whitworth college. She has also lived and concertized in Italy. In 1980 she was the recipient of the National Opera Institute grant to study opera coaching at the Metropolitan Opera." (Text from back cover of The Lord Is My Light.)
