This is volume one of the Lost Reel Collection. Disc one is recorded in mono. Disc two is a stereo recording of one of the classes given by Sun Ra during his teaching residency at UC Berkeley. This class was known as both Sun Ra 171 and The Black Man In The Cosmos. Original tapes are 1/2 track recorded at 7 1/2 ips.
