Sun Tzu was a beatdown hardcore band from Melbourne, Australia. The band quickly gained a reputation for their ferocious stage presence and chaotic, often violent shows. Beginning as a 5-piece, recording a demo and a single "Waging War," before guitarist James left. As a 4-piece, the band toured Australia extensively, and released "Civil War," a split EP with Perth hardcore band Vengeance, and "Joining Forces," a split EP with Norwegian beatdown band Last To Remain. Guitarist Ev and bassist Dave left in late 2009 to focus on their side project At War With Gods, and with a new lineup the band toured southeast Asia, before breaking up in 2010.
