SunNY started his career battling on 107.9 Co Co Brother’s show. Since then he went on to 106 & Park and was inducted into Freestyle Friday Hall of Fame. From the success of 106 & Park, SunNY received a major recording deal with Jermaine Dupri to So So Def/Virgin in 2005.SunNY also received Hip Hop Quotable in the Source for his single “Soul of A Hustler’ Released Album under So So Def Imprint titled “Overnight Celebrity.” Since the release of his last project “Break Of Dawn” SunNY has focused on Health & Hip Hop by launching Sucka Free Athletics. SunN.Y. is gearing up to release his new EP titled "The Book Of Daniel" available February 20, 2016. The Book Of Daniel features the record "I AM I" produced by The Kid Nigel, "Black Ice" produced by Open Range Music, "iNSIGHT" produced by EZ El Pee, & "God Body"produced by the biggest co-sign in the game Don Cannon. SunN.Y. is focused on social issues, true life, and is the total opposite of the "Drug Addict" rap that we are hearing today. SunN.Y. explains his absence from music and promises his fans that he is here to stay.
