Sunray was formed in 1993 by Jon Chambers and John Lewis. The band’s early home demos attracted the attention of Vince Boyd at Watercolour Records, and the same year Sunray made their debut appearance at the Vertigo Club in London supporting Watercolour Records’ The Field Trip. During 2000 and 2001, Chambers recorded new Sunray material with Justin Morey, Bob Bhamra, Will Thomas and Nicola Chambers at Mother Studios, London, and Appletree Studios in Buckinghamshire.
