Surplus 1980 Collectiv Ensembl is a project of the current line-up of Surplus 1980, along with musicians who have either performed in the studio, or live, (or neither), playing extended compositions by Surplus 1980 leader, Moe Staiano, who conducted everyone in the studio, with G.W. Sok contributing vocals separately. The instrumentation includes four guitars, two basses, one upright bass, two reed players, and two drummers.
