Singer and songwriter who has performed in India and abroad through the 70s and 80s as an urban folk musician, writing and singing songs on urban India, its social issues and changing trends. His albums 'Winter Baby' released in 1973, 'Train to Calcutta' released in 1978, and 'Man of Conscience' released in 1990 brought him critical acclaim. The urban folk balladeer's hard-hitting album 'Public Issue' deals with the hottest issues of our times (2005). An experienced film maker, Susmit Bose has also produced several TV serials, documentaries and corporate films.
