Musician of Classical
Swiss pianist, organist, chamber musician and author of piano literature The Swiss pianist Susy Lüthy was educated at Bern Conservatory (Albert Schneeberger, Sava Savoff, Teaching Diploma) and the Conservatory Biel (Geza Hegyi, concert diploma). He continued his studies with Prof. Hans Leygraf in Darmstadt and at the Hannover University of Music and Monique de La Bruchollerie, Paris. She has won the Pembaurwettbewerb in Bern. Solo and chamber music activities ( Winterthur piano trio, Trio Armin Rosin , Raya Trio ) in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Spain. Numerous radio recordings as a soloist, as a partner of her husband, the trumpeter Claude Rippas, and with other soloists and ensembles (Bern, Zurich, Lugano, Lausanne, BR, WDR, SDR, SR, SWF, Radio Bremen, ORF, Radio Catalan) and LP's and CD's. Susy Lüthy taught in Winterthur a private training class and is the author of piano and piano literature for children. It is also employed as an organist. Source: www.clauderippas.ch
