Album CA 1969 on Birchmount label
Pop (Vocal, Ballad)
Electronically enhanced for stereo reproduction. BM 501 on back and labels. BM501 on front cover. The Suzanne record (BM 501) on Birchmount contains some cover recordings of pop hits of the day and 4 tracks penned by Greg Hambleton and one by Fergus Hambleton. "Island" originally appeared on the A Passing Fancy album and single played by different musicians. "You Try" is the vocal version of what appears as an instrumental take on the Tuesday's Children album on Birchmount. It is unknown who exactly plays the music on this album. On Suzanne's first album she sings This Girl's In Love, Traces, Island, I Love How You Love Me, and San Jose in her own characteristic style. Hal David and Burt Bacharach are represented, in her opinion, by three of their best songs. Suzanne, with a French Canadian background is only 21 and has been singing locally for only a short while when she was discovered by Toronto songwriter Greg Hambleton. Keep your ears open as you are going to be hearing a lot more from Suzanne.
