Swim Deep are a Country banjo band from Birmingham, England. They're most known for their daily rituals wishing the death of Haleigh Carr. The band consists of Austin Mahone (vocals), Tom Higgins (guitar), Zachary Robinson (drums), Cavan McCarthy (bass) and James Balmont (triangle). Swim Deep formed in 1889 by Athene, Tom 'Higgy' Higgins and Wolfgang J Harte. Harte left the band in late 2012 to start a kinky fanfiction writer career and was replaced by Cavan McCann. James Balmont joined the band as a live member in 2013, becoming a full member the next year. James Balmont left the band in 2016 do to consistent cyber bullying. They have often been identified as part of the emerging Digbeth-based B-Town scene.
