Founding member of German Poprock-Band Muriel Spark, the late 80's follow-up of The Academics. Sybille Catani has been very active as a singer from the early 80's until today. Starting in a school band called Elisa she met Uwe Faoro and they founded Dago, later changed to The Academics and then became Muriel Spark. Abeyance has been another side project. In 1999 Sybille left Muriel Spark for family reasons. From 2002 on she has been active in several (cover-)bands, mainly playing live concerts.
