metal rock band from amiens, france After ten years of rhythmic pounding in the hardcore band Anorak, Guillaume and Tim rise Sycomore, late 2015. Starting with guitar and drums composition, they are soon joined on bass by Desta, also playing with stoners from Taman Shud. Based in Amiens, France, the group started producing a first disc, influenced by Mastodon, Melvins, Kylesa, Torche, Killing Joke, Today is the day... The trio's music takes its roots in metal and its derivatives, exposing both heavy, vigorous and incantatory. Their first album 'Phantom Wax', including ten songs, pictures a dark organic vibrant bestial universe.
