British-born ukulele player and songwriter Sydney Nesbitt lived much of his life in Canada but was popular in Britain in the 1920s. In 1926 recorded the song "Hey Mister have you met Rosie's sister?" on the Parlophone label. From an early age onwards, he had a deep fascination with aviation and became a skilled pilot.He later moved to the U.S. and by the early 1980s he was retired and living in Florida where he developed a new passion for art and painting. b.
