Electronic artist from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Sylvain Houde was first revealed to the public by conceiving the theme of a succesful TV talk show ("Christiane Charette en direct") with his friends Martin Dumais and Jean-François Charette. Already implicated in the Montreal underground electronic scene (Disques 514), it wasn't difficult for them to come up with the perfect musical jingle for the show. It was later remixed and released as "Le Thème" on their own new label Haute Couture. Also a brilliant writer and journalist, Houde left "Les Jardiniers" in 2001 to concentrate on other projects.
