UK born, US acclaimed rock journalist and writer of biographies. She has written columns for a.o. Sounds, Kerrang!, Q magazine, The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, Rolling Stone, Harp, Blender, San Francisco Chronicle and - mainly - MOJO magazine. In 2012 she had her biography"I'm Your Man: The Life of Leonard Cohen" published to very positive reviews. The following year she travelled the world book reading and singing Leonard Cohen songs, accompanying herself on ukulele. In 2014 she released a debut album of her own songs, produced by Howe Gelb.
