Sylvie Simonian is known for her operatic voice, she sang popular armenian folk song, few records were produced as part of her short career as folk singer (possibly 3 or 4 records), Sylvie joined Shnorhali Choir Enchants of the Catholicosate of Cilicia (Շնորհալի), where she served as lead singer of the choral for 20 years and for the last 3 years she was singing in Sourp Hagop church, Ashrafieh. Saxophonist Karno Simonian is the nephew of Sylvie Simonian.
