The SYNthesizer COoperation SYNCO was founded 1984 in Berlin by Frank Klare and Mirko Lüthge. Their first three cassette-only releases were credited to Synco-Music and self-released. They bought used but still expensive analog equipment from Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze like PPG-Modularsystem, Korg MS-Modularsystem, ARP 2600, ARP Odyssee or MiniMoog and composed music in their "Berlin School" style.
