synth4ever is a Canadian ambient artist who performs live ambient electronica, space music, synth jams and demos for synthesizer lovers worldwide, primarily via his Youtube channel. His music is often composed and improvised in a “space ambient” style whereby he tweaks a synth’s various parameters, plays with effects (such as delay and reverb) to create new sounds, and develops songs and soundscapes in real-time. He cites his main musical influence as Japanese composer/synthesist Isao Tomita, whose 1970s electronic remakes of classical music he began listening to at age 6. Additional influences include Autechre and various artists within the IDM genre, and others such as Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Jonn Serrie, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Ulrich Schnauss and more.
