The Orchestra was founded in 1986 playing traditional Hungarian folk music with a traditional string bands in the lineup, sometimes complete with cymbals. A specific feature of albums published since 1996 are that they are region-focused. It featured prominent place among the folk music of the 1900s vintage. The band won the Hungarian Academy of Arts gold diploma. The band folded in tribute to the best Mezőség, Magyarpalatkai, Szovat, Bonchida, Nagysajó and Visa Cluj music styles. The band continued this tradition in the administration set itself the goal - and this was at during the thirty-year career. Latest album Maros and rural Küküllei of the most beautiful melodies collected a bouquet of forests, waters music titles. The CD is part of a tribute to local masters (including Gaspar and Béla Rácz) and their protest against the disappearence of natural life.
