Singer Emanuel Arata and programmer Serdar Aladag formed T.T. Max in Nuremberg way back in 1987. In the same year they presented their unfinished track "Fly Robin Fly" (Remake of the Disco classic) to Gabi Delgado who decided to produce their 2 releases. Their 2nd single "Body Rock" had been discoverd by Tony Garcia who supported this track enormously and after instant club use it quickly made it into the US Billboard Top 20 although not being a real hit in Germany. But the Americans somehow liked the German-sounding track (Teutonic Beats / German EBM) and Tony Garcia even remixed and co-produced the US pressing.
