With nothing more than a dusty yamaha and one tape deck, Trooko started messing with sounds at the early age 10. After discovering his love for distorted synths he became borderline obsessed with tweaking sounds, editing breaks and bits, and creating as many beats as he could. By the age of 16 he had more than 1000 tracks on tapes, cds, and mp3's. He began selling beats in house, which led to producing artists,traveling the globe, and a Pepsi and Sobe campaign in his home country. His move to L.A. became rewarding after catching the eye of renowned producer and remix mastermind, SWITCH, for whom he began to engineer for on projects like Major Lazer, Beyonce, Kesha, and M.I.A. among other releases and remixes. His most recent productions with Switch and the incredible Santigold can be found in the hit series on HBO Girls and major motion picture, The Heat.
