Tim Tack a.k.a. Tack-Fu is a hip-hop producer and record label CEO of Tack-Fu Productions, a company based in Iowa City, Iowa. He has released two compilation CDs to date. ("Yen & Slang" 98' / "Chained Reaction" 00") These separate projects have been reviewed in national publications such as URB, Insomniac, & Elemental. Firmly established since 1998, many hip-hop acts have performed in Iowa City, and Tack-Fu has shared the stage with all of them: Pharcycde, Spearhead, Slug from Atmosphere, DJ Vadim, Kotton Mouth Kings, Prime from the Molemen & 2002 Scribble Jam MC battle champ Mac Lethal, just to name a few. In 2001, Tack-Fu formed the "85 decibel Monks" a production team consisting of 4 producers with over 30 years of combined production experience.
