Born in Japan in 1981, Takefumi Naoshima began live performances with a mixing board in 2001. Through his improvised work using minimal volume, which challenges the limitations of human ears, his area of concern has changed to people's recognition and interpretation of the (musical) act and performance, more than the sound itself. He founded the own label Encadre and has been organizing the concert series called "Park Concert".
