Taller Recabarren

Band, FR
World

Folk band founded by Sergio Ortega in France in 1974, along with Marcelo Coulón and other Chileans musicians and singers exiled in France, originally to perform "Quelle heure peut-it être à Valparaiso?", from French writer Pierre Debauche, based on Pablo Neruda's poems. They continued performing and were one of the most important groups for the diffusion of Chilean music in Europe during the 1970s, eventually disbanding in 1979.
