Album DE 2006 on Bodensatz label
Electronic, Jazz and Spoken Word (Political, Field Recording, Speech, Radioplay, Experimental)
On May 28, 1999, the Sudanese refugee Aamir Ageeb died on board of the Lufthansa flight "LH588" due to brutal fixation by German police during his deportation to Khartum, Sudan. This brought the munichbased collective "Tarif-A" (a group of activists associated with the refugeeorganisation "Bayerischer Flüchtlingsrat") to produce a radiodrama about the deadly machinery of deportation of migrants in Europe. After five years of recording atmos, recording speakers, making interviews, cutting and arranging audio material, the radiodrama will be broadcasted by independent radio stations in Germany on May 28, 2006 - seven years after the death of Aamir Ageeb. The CD "LH588" comes with detailed printed documentation about the case "Ageeb" and will be released on May 29, 2006 via the recordlabels Bodensatz and Kollaps.
