Samoan artist, born in 1908 and raised in Laie on Oahu, Hawaii. In the 1920s and 1930s he was in the band "Madame Riviere's Hawaiians", together with his wife Rose and three of his uncles. Until 1934 they toured all over the Asian continent. Together with their children the couple has also been active on the North African and European parts of the world. In the late 1970s the whole family retired back to Laie, Hawaii. Having settled in Europe after the war, he married Danish singer Lissi Petersen, with whom he became the father of Lanni Tau Moe, Lupe Moe and Lei Moe and Grandfather of Joey Moe. The children and granchildren all live in Denmark now, and perform with succes. The artist passed away in 2004.
