Rock and Pop
A.k.a. David Cumming, Colin Payne, Jeffrey Nead
After getting together in London, the Taxxi boys relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area (California, USA) where they hooked up with manager David Leiken, who brought them to Fantasy Records. They had some success in France where the track Not Me Girl from their Day for Night LP was a bona fide club smash. Girl (New York City), the single from their States of Emergency LP, hit the top 20 on France’s Hit Parade des Clubs. David Cumming (Vocals, Guitar) Colin Payne (Keyboards, Background Vocals) Jeffrey Nead (Drums)
