Electronic and Rock (Avant-garde, Shoegaze, Minimal, Ambient)
Reflections on architecture and space. These tracks blend the sacred and profane, using field recordings, jaw harps, synths, dubbed out melodicas, walls of blissed white noise, unholy vocalizations from the depths - each piece is an oath that visual artist T. Hannum (member of death folk quartet Unlucky Atlas and one half of noise/drone-metal duo Locrian) puts to use in interrogating the apex. These tracks precariously balance between affirmation and doom. "Oaths/Omens" collects five years of his solo recording output, initially recorded for accompanying video art installations (as evidenced in the final three tracks) before he began performing solo. "Ossuary" and "Obelisk" were originally released as cassettes by Human Conduct and self-released by the artist.
