From the Comatonse bandcamp page: "A compilation of electroacoustic and ambient tracks released on compilations over the years. Tracks listed in alphabetical order. Contains the previously unreleased "Mille Glaces.000-009," a series of ten audio shorts intended for release in an anniversary compilation for the label Mille Plateaux (DE), which I believe was cancelled during the 2003 bankruptcy. In keeping with the "Mille Plateaux" theme, "Mille Glaces" (or "One Thousand Layers") is generated using one thousand 1-minute audio excerpts from the Mille Plateaux catalog. "Mille Glaces.000" is a digital mix of 1000 layers of audio heard simultaneously. "Mille Glaces.001-009" are recordings of my computer crashing as it attempts to play the same files in realtime (a Power Macintosh 7100 with Sound Designer II card)." 7-16 are in 24/48 bitrate; all other tracks are in 16/44.1 bitrate. 4: Originally titled "Inevitability Of Public Sex (Love Theme From The Morning Line)". 18: Ambient reworking of the DJ Sprinkles song from the album Midtown 120 Blues. 22: Originally titled "Aunty Eddie's Pussy". 23: Originally titled "Love On A Real Train (Risky Business)" 28-74: "Part of a compilation paying tribute to James T. Russell, inventor of the compact disc. CD technical specifications limit the shortest track length to one second, and the maximum number of tracks to ninety-nine. Using these restrictions, I wished to fill the CD to capacity after all tracks by other producers on the compilation. The result was these 47 tracks - one of which contains sound. I was expecting them to be placed at the end of the CD, but to my surprise the staff at Alku decided to use my tracks to begin the CD." On the bandcamp page, the "Info" button beside each song displays additional information about the recording process, additional performers, and/or the piece's original release date.
