Cartoonist, animator, actor and director, born 22. November 1940, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. The animator for Do Not Adjust Your Set and Monty Python's Flying Circus, Terry Gilliam was also the sixth (and least visible) acting member of the Monty Python troupe, and their only US-American member. Also a naturalised British citizen, Mr. Gilliam is nowadays more famous as the director of some of the most eclectic and interesting films in recent times, such as Brazil, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Twelve Monkeys, and The Brothers Grimm.
