A.k.a. Terrance Corley Burrus
Songwriter - pianist - synthesist - producer A Brooklyn, New York native started touring as a teenager playing with Michael Urbaniak, Jean Carn, Tom Browne, Lenny White, Melba Moore to playing for Lena Horne and Stanley Turrentine. He became a highly respected and successful recording session man working on recordings of Michael Jackson, Toni Braxton, Janet Jackson, Swing Out Sister, Mariah Carey, Cardigans, Phyllis Hyman, Frankie Knuckles and David Morales. From his teenage days as a jazz fusionist to funkster to house and techno pioneer, today as a recording artist he is regarded as a highly progressive pianist and producer. The live concerts of Terry Burrus stimulates the senses with an in depth sensitivity of performance which is undeniable. Furthermore he is also the conductor of the New York Times Symphony Orchestra that began in 2012 and can be seen as guest conductor of various orchestras worldwide as well.
