Canadian DJ, VJ, TV host and actor often referred to in Canada as "TDM." Born June 30, 1942 in New Westminster, British Columbia. From 1960 to 1964 was an RCMP officer in Alberta. Started as a DJ in Vancouver in 1965. Was the original host of Canada's first music video show, CBC's Good Rockin' Tonight, when it launched October 8, 1983. In 1985 he left CBC to join Canada's all-music-video channel, MuchMusic. Through the 90s he hosted many TV shows and acted in TV and movies. In addition to his acting career, by 1995 he returned to his DJ roots with the show Mulligan Stew on CKUA and in the early 2000s started another weekly show Tasting Room Radio.
