"Amnesia Milk" is a sound installation for a recurring dream that Daniele Santagiuliana (the person behind the moniker Testing Vault) has been experimenting with since the end of 2018. An intangible but so lucid place that he can go back every time he wants to see it, where instead of the street lamps, the only source of illumination are milk bottles with a lighted bulb inside each of them. The bottles float one foot from the ground and sometimes they are open on the bottom. The music, after the triple "thebigghostanimal", became more concrete yet rarefied at the same time, contaminated by the use of viola and tape loops - deliberately recalling the modus operand of Angus MacLise, John Cale and Tony Conrad in the early 60s , but mixing everything with the trademark sound now typical of Testing Vault, suspended between drones, spoken words and a tribute to Alan Lamb's spectral atmospheres in "Night Passage". The physical release (unlike the digital one - https://testingvault.bandcamp.com/album/amnesia-milk ) of "Amnesia Milk" completes its experience of "installation" with a bonus disc in which, unlike the first, the wall of sound is brought to a sort of exasperating tension, creating a sort of trance state and total immersion in the image and in the dream. The great guest star of this bonus disc is Richard Ramirez, here in the guise of his HNW project Werewolf Jerusalem. "Almost white light, almost black darkness".
