Teufelskreis (Vicious Cicle) - from Vienna, Austria. Songwriter & Guitarist Friedl Schuetz, who is best known for being the guitarist of Austrian Death Metal Band Sunterra, founded Teufelskreis in 2008. With Chris Schön, who played in Sunterra too, and singer Ronny Platzer (Insanity / Madox), he found his ideal bandmates. The Drummer of Friedl's choice was a guy called Rawman In 2009, they released their debut album Spuren Der Vergangenheit (traces of the past), In his Lyrics Mastermind friedl (who writing almost all the lyrics for the Band), works up his personal negative experiences in the Bands Songs. Teufelskreis' sound is similar to bands Like Rammstein, Megaherz and Oomph! - but with even more Heavy Metal, and the lyrics often are very socio-critical and matched to the Band's name, handles all vicious circles from violence, hate, war to poverty. After drummer Rawman left the Band, Teufelskreis found the ideal replacement with Mike "Mr. Hyde" Novak and recorded the second album Lust Frust (Lust & Frustration) featuring Alf Poier to get featured on the hit Liebe tut so Weh (Love Hurts so Bad). This track is a heavy-rocker. After release of this Album, Teufelskreis toured with Megaherz, Eissregen and other similar Bands across Austria. In 2014 the four rockers meet up with NRT-Records founder Philipp Gottfried and decided to sign a label deal with NRT-Records. The Band released the well-recieved EP Eifersucht in february 2014. Friedl Schuetz, Chris Schoen & Ronny Platzer was so satisfied with the work NRT-Records does for them, so they decided to re-release their regular Albums with the German indielabel. In October 2014 the Band are going to release a new music video. In November 2014, Drummer Mike Hyde was replaced by Christian Platschek. Teufelskreis are also very socially active. For every sold Album, they donate 1,50 Dollars to organisations like Happy Kids.
